Quality

The quality is actually great for the price. I’ve owned at least three pairs of Begum dupes. They always hold up well. The one thing that bothers me is that the sling doesn’t stay on the back of my heel. It could be because I have very flat feet and my heel grab the sling properly. It could also be that the sling isn’t constructed well. If you have severe flat feet like I do, you may run into the same problem.

These dupes normally ship with a pair of straps that you can use around the ankles. The method for attaching these straps is not obvious so it will take some playing around with before you can fit them onto the shoes properly. I will say that the straps take away from the beauty of the shoe if you use them.

Accuracy

There are no Amina Muaddi logos on this shoe. But that’s fine with me. The bottom of the pitch of the shoe should be more angular, however. These, when studied, are clearly a pair of dupes but this is the type of shoe you buy STRICTLY for the look and not for the logos or brand!

Sizing

Sizing is one of the most difficult things to tackle when buying on AliExpress (the most difficult thing to tackle is figuring out if the product is represented accurately in the product images). Unfortunately, it’s going to take some trial and error.

As for myself, I usually wear a size U.S. 7.5 in women’s dress shoes. I am usually a size 37 in shoes on AliExpress! Hasn’t failed me yet. Most sizes are not offered in half sizes. When I’ve bought 38, it’s always been a half size too big. That’s why I’ve had to settle on a 37. And the size you see in these photos is a size 37.

When I read reviews for women that wear size 9 and up, they almost always end up buying 2 sizes too small. But you will have to tell me.

Tips for Buying Shoes on AliExpress

Do not go by the sizing conversion chart on the seller’s page! It is wrong! It is not accurate at all! It will lead you to buying the wrong size! lol

If you’re unsure about which size to get, find at least 5 different sellers with this shoe. Ask each seller to measure the insole of a size you think will work out. Then, find a shoe of a similar style and height in your closet and compare the measurements. This is not a fool-proof way to choose the right size but it will definitely help guide you. I normally use a measuring tape to measure the insole. The key is to get the seller to measure the INSOLE of the shoe and not the outer bottom sole of the shoe. The outer bottom sole is usually shorter than the insole.

Not all of the sellers will agree to measure the shoe for you. Some will ignore you. Some will also tell you to look at the shoe conversion chart. But the motivated sellers will get the actual shoe and measure it for you! The BEST sellers will actually take a picture of themselves measuring the shoe!
